New 2012 Audi A6
Audi, strengthen its competitiveness in the medium luxury sedan segment with the launch of new models (redesigned), A6. In the country of origin,Audi A6 will fight with the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. In Germany alone, new A6 for sale by early 2011 which left only 30 days longer.
Audi is looking to make sales strides with the new car’s technology-packed design, and it is prospective buyers who are the biggest winners.
Although the new A6′s dimensions haven’t changed significantly from the current car’s, the minor differences play a critical role in achieving Audi’s self-stated goal of giving the car a more purposeful and sporty look.
By pushing the wheels out towards the ends of the car, Audi hopes to give it a sleeker profile.
It is also almost 2cm wider than the current car. Significantly, the new-look grille is also 5cm wider than before, and both it and the front headlamps are designed to give the car a wide stance by forcing your eyes to look out to the car’s edges.
On the outside, the car still has the arched windowline that has remains a trademark of Audi sedans. At the front, the now famous Audi LED headlights get revamped as well.
With the new design, the A6 makes extensive use of aluminum and high-tech steel components, therefore the car is 176 lbs lighter than the current generation.
he 2012 A6 is also shorter, sits lower and more economical than the old car.
The Audi A6 have V6 engine with front-wheel drive makes 204 hp and designed, while the four-wheel drive brings 245 hp.
